Won 1982 World Series with a team That only Had 3 pitchers in double figures( none more than 15 wins ) only 67 Homers and only one hitter above .300( Lonnie Smith .306 ) 1985 NL Champions -87 homeruns and only two hitters above .300 ( Tommy Herr and Willie McGee ) 1987 NL Champions-94 homers and none of his pitchers won more than 11 games. Managing Kansas City and the Cardinals, The best manager I have ever seen bringing the best out of his players.Larusa will have to die and live againg several lives to come close to what Herzog achieve in his carrier.
