I am 6’5” and a pitcher on the high school team. What size glove should i have?
My parents have been debating on whether i should have a bigger glove for pitching/infield or a smaller one. We just bought one yesterday, and it is a 12 inch. My dad says its too small, he says it looks like a little league glove on me. I have no idea where to go from here. The glove fits okay, and i like it a lot. But its smaller than my old glove, a 13 inch. What should i do?
For a pitcher between 12 and 13 is fine, it depends what infield positions you play though for 3rd u usually want around a 12 inch for SS u usually want 11.75 and for 2nd u want 11.50. the smaller the glove the quicker it is to get it out. so… if you play a lot of pitcher and infield then i recommend you stay with the 12 inch, as long as it is a close webbed glove, so they cant see what pitches you are going to pitch.
